The SHA is seeking qualified consultants to assist in the evaluation, selection, and procurement of a retirement benefits provider. The selected consultant will guide the Springfield Housing Authority through a structured, objective process to identify a benefits partner that aligns with our strategic goals, workforce needs, and financial parameters.
The primary objectives of this engagement include:
- Assisting the SHA develop a Request for Proposal (RFP) for the purposes of soliciting organizations/entities who provide retirement offerings and options to submit a proposal to the Springfield Housing Authority with retirement plan options for its regular full-time employees.
- Developing and managing the Request for Proposal (RFP) process (if applicable).
- Developing evaluation criteria and scoring methodologies.
- Identifying potential benefits providers.
- Reviewing, assessing and comparing the submissions and retirement benefits offerings.
- Assisting the SHA in evaluating vendor responses and facilitating the selection process.
- Supporting contract negotiation and retirement plan implementation.
