Over two four-hour modules, learn how to maximize your limited resources including staffing and the fiscal operations of your agency. Discuss asset management and how it will affect your agency. Discover best practices and participate in a practicum examining the key aspects of housing operations: maintenance, modernization/ construction administration, occupancy, and inspections. Learning is interactive with exercises, discussion, and addressing participant’s specific questions

Objectives:

By the completion of this course, you will

• Gain an overall understanding of the elements that Executive Directors and Senior Staff must address on a weekly, monthly, and annual basis in order to keep program performance at an optimum level;
• Learn the most recent regulations how they will affect your operation and fiscal health;
• Gain an awareness of key operations and activities that HUD will be tracking;
• Learn from other participants about how they are handling “doing more with less”
